Spelman

In the fall of 2024, ASJ brought dancers and musicians together for a semester-long collaboration between a music composition class at Emory and a movement improvisation class at Spelman. The course featured an improvisational dance performance with real-time electronic music that explored human agency in AI systems, the social justice topic theme that both classes are tackling.

The artist fellow for this collaboration was Kacie Luaders, an Atlanta podcast and sound artist, who co-taught with Emory professor Adam Mirza and Spelman professor T. Lang.
