Community Event:
Screen-Printing for Public Health

In the Public Health course Immigration as a Social and Structural Determinant of Health, led by Amy Zeidan and Kelly Taylor Mitchell, students collaborated with area immigration nonprofits and guest speakers to create screen prints representing topics related to immigration. The final prints were displayed alongside a digitally transformed fabric composite featuring all of the student-created prints.

As part of a community pop-up event at Best End Brewing, in partnership with Art on the BeltLine, attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with the project. They worked with a student to create their own screen print using 1-2 screens developed during the course.
